Believing that those in authority should also be under authority, Dr. Karen is under the spiritual covering of Bishop T. D. Jakes of Dallas , Texas . She became a member of PHIPA (Potter’s House International Pastors Alliance) in December 1999 and was ordained at The Potter’s House on October 12, 2002. She is submitted to the oversight of Bishop Jakes who is her pastor and mentor.

Dr. Bethea also serves as a covering to churches in both the United States and Bermuda. She currently has churches in Charlotte , N.C. , Greensboro, N.C., Milwaukee,WI, Nashville, Tennessee and Hamilton, Bermuda. For information on the STCF Apostolic Alliance click here.
